As the rain gently falls (2013) – Grade 2

Now available for performance is my second work for band, As the rain gently falls. This grade 2 work tells the story of a gentle rainstorm as it rolls in and intensifies into a thunderstorm. It is a great introduction to aleatoric music for middle school band students. Students perform effects such as blowing air into their instruments and snapping their fingers to create wind and rain sounds. Listen to the sightreading recording of my first draft below!
