Commissioned by the John A. Sutter Middle School Bands in Winnetka, CA, this piece is a Baroque-style dance suite in one movement. It opens with a somber prelude, followed by a stately Allemande, a noble Galliard, and a restatement of the opening melody. Your students are sure to enjoy the intense minor mode and dance rhythms.
